Bill Clemens Economic Stimulus Plan

Personal Stuff No Comments »

HI Everyone,

This idea sounds just logical enough to possibly work, so naturally it won’t be given serious consideration, But here it goes anyway

I’m was against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG and this is why. Instead, I’m in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a We Deserve It Dividend

To make the math simple, let’s assume there are 200,000,000 bona fide Income Tax Filing U.S. Citizens 18+

Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman and child.

So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up. So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billion that equals $425,000.00.

My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a We Deserve It Dividend . Of course, it would NOT be tax free. So let’s assume a tax rate of 30%. Every individual 18+ would pay $127,500.00 in taxes. That sends $25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam.   But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket. A husband and wife have $595,000.00.

What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family? Pay off your mortgage - housing crisis solved. Repay college loans - what a great boost to new grads. Put away money for college - it’ll be there. Save in a bank - create money to loan to entrepreneurs. Buy a new car - create jobs. Invest in the market - capital drives growth. Pay for your parent’s medical insurance - health care improves

Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean - or else.

Remember this is for every adult U S Citizen 18+ including the folks who lost their jobs at Lehman Brothers and every other company that is cutting back. And of course, for those serving in our Armed Forces. If we’re going to re-distribute wealth let’s really do it…instead of trickling out a puny $1000.00 ( ‘vote buy’ ) economic incentive that is being proposed by one of our candidates for President.

If we’re going to do an $85 billion bailout, let’s bail out every adult U S Citizen 18+!

As for AIG - liquidate it. Sell off its parts. Let American General go back to being American General. Sell off the real estate. Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean it up.

Here’s my rationale. We deserve it and AIG doesn’t. Sure it’s a crazy idea that can ‘never work.’ But can you imagine the Coast-To-Coast Block Party! How do you spell Economic Boom

I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the $85 Billion. We Deserve It Dividend more than I do the geniuses at AIG or in Washington, DC.

And remember, The Plan only really costs $59.5 Billion because $25.5 Billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam

Ahhh…I feel so much better getting that off my chest. I also have this posted on my blog. But feel free to pass it on to everyone!

Building Your Income with Blogs

Blog Marketing No Comments »

Blogs are a fantastic way to make money. They perform well in search engines, they’re easy to promote, and they can offer very sticky content. If you blog often, and you’re good at what you do, you could develop a pretty large following of readers who subscribe to your RSS feed and read your content on a daily basis.

One of the biggest keys to success with blogs is posting in them regularly. If you don’t post regularly, you probably won’t get much traffic, and people won’t return. Posting frequently also keeps your content fresh, and search engines love fresh content.

The more often you post, the more often the spiders will visit your site. And every time you post, you can ping your site at the various ping locations. This can also bring in more traffic.

Another major key to blog success is creating sticky content. This means you have to write posts that people will actually be interested in reading.

Readers probably don’t care what you had for dinner, unless you’re John Chow or you’re running a food blog. They want to read about stuff related to your niche. If you’re running a blog about golfing, at least 75% of your posts should be related to golf. Preferably 100%.

You should talk about golf courses you’ve recently played on, tournaments you’ve watched, and clubs you’ve tried. You might occasionally post about family matters, or your dog, or your favorite restaurant as a way to connect on a more personal level with your readers, but most of your posts should be on target with your niche.

Blogs are great for people who sell services. If you’re a graphics designer or writer, having a blog is a good way to keep in touch with your clients. You can offer updates on your schedule and availability, current prices and special offers, and when you’ll be taking some time off.

You can also post samples of your latest work. If you have a number of clients subscribe to your RSS feed, you’ll be able to keep in contact with them so they’ll order from you more often.

People also tend to follow blogs more carefully than websites.

Don’t start a blog with the intention of letting it sit dormant and earn money. It probably won’t work. If you’re going to start a blog, you need to be prepared to commit yourself to growing the blog, posting often, keeping it updated, and not giving up on it.

They offer multiple selling opportunities – from text links woven throughout the content to image ads like banners you strategically place in between blog posts. The sidebar can also be utilized as affiliate or direct sales revenue space.

Make sure you take the time to transfer your blog over to your own domain instead of hosting it within the blogging community. This makes it more professional to the person who lands on your website and lends credibility to your efforts as the go-to person in your niche.

Alesha Oreskovich and me August 2008

Uncategorized No Comments »

Here”s a quick picture of me and Playboy’s Playmate of the Month Miss June 1993 Alesha Oreskovich. She was up visiting a friend of mine another Playboy model and we got to hang out and talk for a bit. As a man I think ( I know I do ) tend to put Playmates up on a platform. Hell it’s every mans dream right, but she is so down to earth and nice. It really was a great time hanging w/ her.

Forum Marketing at Its Best

Forum Marketing No Comments »

Forum marketing is an excellent way to market products for free. But there are a few tricks to marketing on forums without getting banned. You have to be careful not to do any blatant advertising or you’ll probably get banned very quickly.

The first thing you should do when you’re new to a forum is create an interesting profile. Add an avatar that’s a picture of you, or a picture related to the niche. If you’re in the dog training niche, you might put a picture of a dog - preferably your own. In the golf niche, it could be a picture of your favorite golf pro. Me I personally work on branding myself, i.e. my user name might be BillClemens you get the idea.

Next, start making posts that answer questions. You should never mention your website or product at this point. Being a member of a forum, you’ll be there to give people helpful answers to their questions and post an occasional thread of your own to spark a discussion or provide helpful tips.

The point of this phase is to start establishing yourself as an expert in the niche. By giving people valuable answers, you’ll be seen as the go-to person in your niche. As forum members start to recognize your contributions, they’ll start looking for your posts, hanging on your every word!

Check the rules of the forum to make sure they allow links in signatures. If they do, you can add a link to your site. You might prefer to link to a squeeze page, so you can start building a list of forum visitors that you can market to later.

Don’t do anything to draw attention to your signature - such as continually telling people, “I have more information on the site in my sig file.” Just keep posting as you have been, giving out helpful information.

After you’ve built up a very good reputation at the forum, people may start searching for you on their own. Make sure the name you use on the forums is featured in the text of every project you promote, because you need to make it easy for people to find your products if they start looking for them on Google.

You might even be able to JV with the forum owner after you’ve become rather well-known around the forum. You could offer a standard JV, or you could just ask the forum owner to be your affiliate. You might offer them a special deal, with a higher percentage of commission than normal affiliates – or a discount reserved just for their members.

Respect the forum boundaries. Don’t private message people and ask them to check out your site unless you already have some sort of previous relationship with them. The only time you should ever draw special attention to a project of yours is if someone makes a post that specifically asks for recommendations about products.

For example, if someone asks, “Does anyone know of any good books that can help me housebreak my puppy?” You could probably get away with posting, “Actually, I wrote a book about how to housebreak a puppy in just four days. If you’re interested, you can find the link in my sig.” If it’s an invitation to provide a product link, it’s probably okay – but otherwise, let the forum traffic funnel in on its own.

Two of the best forums I know of and use on a regular basis are the Warrior Forum and Digital Point Forums. These 2 have been the most successful for me out of all the other. But before you jump into any forum do your home work first.

Dedicated To Your Success
