How to Write Articles Using Old Blog Posts

Posted by admin on 31 May 2009

Are you interested in exploring how to write articles by using the same content you’ve already posted to your blog? If you write articles and also frequently post to your blog to generate traffic you know how labor intensive that can be.

Although these marketing strategies are extremely effective they can also be quite a strain on your time management skills.

What if you could cut your writing efforts in half or to put it differently get twice the results from the same efforts? Well you can and we’re going to discuss here how to do just that.

For anybody involved in article writing you know how challenging it can sometimes be to come up with new ideas for content. Posting to a blog on the other hand generally only requires an idea but not much detail.

Let’s explore a simple 3 step process you can use to ‘transform’ your blog post into articles that will decrease your workload while increasing your desired results.

Develop and Organize Your Topics

You’ll first want to develop and organize topics upon which you can base your blog posts. Considering that a blog post constitutes a summary of a lengthier thought this shouldn’t be difficult. Obviously you’ll want the topics to be related in some form or fashion to your niche or blog theme.

Compose Your Posts in Advance

In an effort to focus better on your immediate task you may want to separate composing your blog posts from the time you use for writing articles. This should help you maintain a consistent train of thought making both tasks easier to accomplish.

Instead of composing a blog post then writing an article you’ll want to put together a group of posts first. Once this is completed you can turn your attention to transforming these posts into articles.

When writing an article as opposed to posting to a blog you are actually using completely different writing styles. By dividing these two tasks you now only need to focus on just one particular writing style. This in turn will increase the ease and efficiency of your overall writing process and save you time.

Base Your Articles Upon Your Post

Blog posts by design are short summations of a more detailed thought pattern. Upon these summations you can base a more in-depth article. By using the post for your writing ideas you now cut down on the overall time involved in the writing process itself.

As you know every article starts with an outline and your blog post supplies that outline for you.

So now you can see how to write articles easily if you also already have a blog that you post to on a regular basis. Even though both blogging and writing articles are excellent marketing strategies attempting to do both can put quite a strain on your time management skills. By further developing any writing ideas you can get from your own blog posts you’re essentially bypassing the additional time needed for more article research. By following this simple 3 step approach and streamlining the writing process you’re getting twice the results for little more than a one time effort!

Proven Online Product Marketing Tips

Proven Online Product Marketing Tips

It is not necessary to recreate the wheel every time you want to start a campaign to market your products or services.  Instead, you can look to the best practices of what other online businesses have done in the past for proven online product marketing tips.  You can learn both from the mistakes and successes of other businesses, so long as you effectively incorporate those ideas into your own marketing strategy.

An important marketing tip to follow is to remember the needs of your potential clients as your primary focus.  Another important tip to follow is to study the competition and learn as much as possible from what you observe.  Finally, it is so important that you are the absolute expert in your field, so that you can market yourself in the most effective methods possible.

How well do you know your potential clients?  You first need to understand that no matter how valuable the products and services that you offer, they will not appeal to everyone.  Instead of trying to market your products to entities who will never be interested, you should instead set your sights on those individuals who will actually be interested in what you have to offer.

Forget about segments of the marketplace that are yet untapped.  You may be able to go back later and find ways to reach out that will be effective to your overall marketing strategy.  But until you’ve achieved success with your target customer groups, you cannot spend time looking at clients that are a long shot.

What do your competitors do well?  What do they do not so well?  You should constantly be observing how your competitors deal with their businesses.  You can rely heavily upon your own observations.

In addition, you can ask trusted friends or current clients to look at the offerings and practices of your competition to find ways to emulate their successes or change practices to avoid the ways in which they have not been as successful.  Proven online product marketing tips can come from nearly any observation you make about the businesses of your competition.

Finally, you must be an absolute expert in the field in which you do business.  How else can you expect your customers and clients to trust you, if you do not know more about what you have to offer than any of your competitors?

Learn about your products and services inside out.  If they are products and services that you have developed on your own, you should carefully document every piece of knowledge possible about them.  If they are third party products or services, you should read all documentation that is provided, test out the products and services so that you know how to use them inside and out. When you don’t know the answer you need to know how to find the appropriate experts of whom to ask questions whenever they may arise.

By using the above proven online product marketing tips and others, you can be well on your way to achieving success for your business.

Bandwidth Bandits

Posted by admin on 28 May 2009

Bandwidth Bandits

Files that are loaded to or from servers uses internet bandwidth to push files along the network at various speeds.Visit at http://free-websitemaking.blogspot.com

Every time you upload a file to your ISP, surf the web or use an audio application, you are using bandwidth.

Bandwidth is a bunch of wires or fibers connecting servers to a network. Depending on the grade of the wire it determines how much data is coming across the network where your web-site is hosted. When someone attempts to get more data than can be handled by the network, the whole network slows down.

ISP’s can put a limitation on bandwidth at certain times during peak periods or charge you a flat fee per month for bandwidth usage. If you go over the flat fee, then they charge you extra for using extra bandwidth. Some ISP’s will shut down the transmissions until traffic is more stable on the network.

You can load most files (images, sound files, videos and flash scripts and other programs) in your web site. This excludes, of course, banners and pop ups and specific documents and images which are supposed to be loaded from a central server.

Bandwidth bandits link to images and other files directly to some other server instead of putting them on their local server. There are various reasons as to why they do this but one reason is to get as much bandwidth as possible to show their links and images. So they “steal” images or audio files each time the site is initialized meaning that they steal the bandwidth.

There’s certain ways that you can stop the person from stealing your bandwidth allocation. If they have an email, I would contact them personally or go through Network Solutions and do an IP lookup which will give you information on the person and who the site is registered to. You can always get in touch with the company that hosts their site too.

Bandwidth can be expensive and the last thing that you want is someone stealing it.

The Ugly Truth About Free Marketing Leads

Posted by admin on 27 May 2009

The Ugly Truth About Free Marketing Leads

A marketing lead is the identity of a person or company who might be interested in purchasing goods or services. It’s the first stage of the selling process. The lead may have a business associated with them. Free marketing leads often come from trade shows, advertising, or even rude, aggressive techniques like cold-calling numbers from your local phone book. Cold calls, incidentally, aren’t very effective.

Think about it—you don’t know who these people are, what they need or want, and they aren’t at all aware of your product or service.

Contact information doesn’t become a marketing lead unless and until the person behind the contact information has some specific reason why they’d be more interested in your product or service than the man on the street. In other words, you have to know something about them. What they like, and more importantly what they need, especially if what they need has something to do with what you do or sell.

If you drop the words “free marketing leads” in your search engine, chances are it will generate page after page of hits. Chances, are almost all of these hits will be pretty dodgy, ranging from Multi-Level-Marketing schemes (that’s the polite name for pyramid scams) to ‘companies’ whose sole purpose is to rip you off by selling you lists of free leads. Wait a minute—if they’re selling you leads, then the leads aren’t free, right? You’d think. But apparently there truly is a sucker born every minute.

Another kind of “free marketing lead”—one of those kinds that at some point in the chain, you’ll probably be expected to cough up some cash for—is lists of emails. Often the seller of the list claims that these emails are pre-filtered to be relevant to exactly what you are selling. Often enough, this same seller sells the same list to every would-be marketer, regardless of what that would-be marketer is actually trying to market.
In other words, these leads have the proverbial snowball’s chance in a well-known, hot, unpleasant place of ever generating sales. They’re basically a way of cold calling. In other words, if you’ve always dreamed of becoming a spammer, this is the way to go.

Sales leads are, obviously, leads that can lead directly to sales. Marketing leads are slightly different. These are targeted leads that are brand-specific rather than product specific. What makes your brand special? Do people know what you do? How you do it? Who you are? Think about who needs what you do. This is the first step in generating genuine marketing leads.

Perhaps the best, most honest, most dignified source of free marketing leads is your own website. People who visit your website do so for a reason. If they visit more than once, they’re genuinely interested in what you do, who you are, and how you do what you do. These are genuine free marketing leads, and about as precisely targeted as you could hope for. Are you going to follow up, or are you going to let them slip away?

Web 2.0 for Real Estate Investing

Posted by admin on 26 May 2009

Web 2.0 technology has changed the way the Internet works. It has made the web even more popular than it ever was before, and it has shifted the focus towards user generated content and interaction. Whether or not you realize it, web 2.0 can be a great tool to help you with real estate investing. It’s all about establishing a presence and finding new people while saving money in the process.

If you’re unsure about what exactly web 2.0 is, it’s basically a broad term that encompasses many new sites, networks and services which allow for greater control of content and much more interaction with others on the web. You may have also heard it referred to as social networking or social media. In the past, the web was filled with static websites that were delivered to interested parties. Now the web is filled with dynamic communities that view, change and create their own content. The power ultimately lies with the user and those who know how to navigate the changing landscape.

Web 2.0 includes many different things. Blogs and blog commenting fall into the web 2.0 scope, as do the major profile and friend sites such as MySpace and Facebook. Link sharing communities where you can submit links and vote such as Digg and Reddit are also web 2.0 services. Photo sharing services such as Flickr, games and worlds such as Second Life and quickly emerging new sites such as Twitter along with many other tools are all web 2.0 services which have effectively changed the ground rules for online marketing and advertising.

So how can you use web 2.0 for your advantage in real estate marketing. For one thing it will allow you to reach out to entire networks of people. These people may bounce ideas off of one another or share tips. They may provide a great place for you to announce certain things or for you to find new leads. You will also establish yourself on the Internet and develop a strong presence. These are just a few of the ways that web 2.0 can help you succeed with real estate investing.

Perhaps best of all is that social networking does not take any money at all. You no longer have to throw away your hard earned cash with traditional advertising and marketing. Instead, you’ll need to devote a little bit of time every day or week towards improving your web 2.0 skills and outreach. It will certainly save you money and it will pay dividends over the long haul.

If you’re looking for a new way to improve your real estate investing success than web 2.0 is where you need to turn. More people use these services each and every day than ever before, so if you want to be able to reach out to them you have to do it on their level with social networking.

SEO Favored Flash Content – Get Your Interactive Website Ranked High in Search Engine Page Rank

Posted by admin on 25 May 2009

It has become an old notion that Flash is a burden for SEO. Now with the advent of advanced technologies, Flash contents are enjoying a cherished space in the web of search engines. However, in the past search engines used to index only HTML pages but an abundance of font, bold, italic and other tags helped less semantic contents also getting indexed. This was a no less than a boon for Flash favored websites. Keeping tab with the pace, Flash web design platforms such as Flash game design and Flash based entertainment development have also touched the marquee of popularity.

Search engines have made wonderful Flash indexing improvements that are helping Flash contents appear in the top list of search engine results pages. Nonetheless, now search engines are pretty much able to recognize pages with Flash contents but still these pages have to struggle a lot to get ranked on top of HTML pages, as HTML pages have always been favorite for search engines due to their web standard compliance.  Therefore, most of the Flash web development organizations concentrate on logical structuring of Flash documents which uses headline tags, emphasis, lists and other important features to get a Flash page ranked up in the hierarchy of search engine page ranking.

While structuring a Flash graphic design, a competent designer mostly focuses on several aspects that includes –

  • Clean designing is a must as cluttered designs hardly get ranked up.
  • A good SEO is another important aspect of a logical structuring of Flash pages. This is a search engine favored tool which helps pages in increasing their search engine readability.
  • The Flash page must be accessible to almost every browser; this is important not only for better page ranking in search engine results pages but also to increase the visitor count.

I am the webmaster at www.synapse-consultants.com – a Flash web development company offering numerous services, such as content management, offshore software development, online marketing, search engine optimization, search marketing, and website maintenance services.

How To Get To Sleep When Your Partner Snores

Posted by admin on 22 May 2009

If one or other of you is in the habit of snoring it usually ends up being an issue for you both. The person who is snoring may or may not be aware of the impact upon them, but it will be creating at least some rather nasty side effects. These can range from sleep deprivation or a sore throat to being in danger of being suffocated by their partner’s pillow. At the very least, your partner is likely to be either tired or extremely frosty come morning. The impact upon both health and relationship is not pleasant.

More often than not the “culprit” is expected to seek a cure, be what it may, and some of the “cures” can be pretty drastic and uncomfortable to say the least. It is far less often that the “victim” seeks any way of getting away from these irritating and frustrating sounds, other than removing themselves to the other end of the house. Again, this doesn’t bode well for your relationship.

Who’s worse off – the snorer or his/her partner?

The person who snores is happily asleep, but wakes in the morning with a sore throat, and potentially a lot of bruises from being prodded by their partner. Alternatively, they are repeatedly woken up (in increasingly more forceful ways) and told to turn over, with a further demand that they stay on their side.

The partner on the other hand lies in bed, wide awake, acutely aware of every gurgle and gasp which their partner emits, constantly listening out for the sounds to get louder and more insistent. You lie there in a state of tense frustration as the snoring builds to a crescendo and then subsides for a few sparse moments, only to begin that build up once again…ear plugs are reached for, but the sound of snoring seems impervious to this attempted barrier and find their way into your inner ear, and travel around and around your mind until you feel that you will go completely mad. Another sleepless night filled with frustration, or another night in the spare bed!

Both parties feel that their hands are tied, that there is nothing much that they can do. You have looked into the physical causes and done what you can to eliminate these, but still the snoring continues. You are probably thinking now that there’s nothing that can be done to help, that you are stuck together in this particular rut. But it is amazing how your mind can be used to help; Help is at hand for both of you.

The “victim” can take control of their predicament and learn how to respond to snoring sounds in different ways, retraining your brain to find those sounds to be soothing and comforting. This may sound to you completely impossible and think that I must be completely mad. But I can assure you that this is entirely possible, with a little bit of help from hypnosis downloads.

Hypnosis allows access to your inner mind and provides an environment whereby it is easy and quick to retrain your brain to alter automatic patterns of reactions. Thus you can learn to direct the perception of your partners snoring to sooth and relax you instead of triggering those old unwanted patters of irritation and frustration.

This really can work for you so long as you have an open enough mind to try it. And let’s face it, you really have nothing to lose; hypnosis downloads are inexpensive and the only effort expected of you is to lie back and listen to your download each night when you go to bed for a two-three week period – that should at the very least provide a welcome break from listening to your partner’s snoring, and will retrain your brain to expect to sleep no matter how loud the snoring gets!

You can work with hypnosis downloads from the snorer’s perspective as well. Hypnotic suggestions can be made to trigger a desire to turn over each time you hear the sound of your own snoring. This powerful suggestion, embedded deep within your psyche simply by listening to a hypnosis download, is a very simple way in which to avoid those bruises and a frosty atmosphere in the morning!

How to Avoid Having Vague Marketing Messages

Posted by admin on 21 May 2009

A vague message is one thing that your marketing collateral such as catalogs should not have. This is the most essential rule to remember when producing your print catalogs.

If you fail to make your marketing message more precise and detailed, you are more than likely to fail miserably in your ad campaign as well as lose opportunities for you to have your ROIs.

So what can you do? Try not to be vague with your marketing messages. You should convey a simple and precise offer so that there will never be a chance for your ad to be misunderstood by your target clients. In addition, follow these rules to avoid having vague messages in your catalog printing:

1. Know your target market so you can offer the right benefits.

Do not forget to provide your target clients with the benefits. These are the very things that would appeal to them because these are features that add value to your prospects’ lives. You do not have to put your product features or service description, just make sure you give them what benefits they would be getting from your product or service. So explain to them why purchasing your product can benefit your target clients. Not only that, but be sure to add why it is advantageous for them to work with you. Do you provide 24/7 shipping? What about your turnaround time? Can they get their print catalogs in 24 hours or less? The whole point is to let them know what is in it for them.

2. Know your business.

Your business alone is your business. No one else will ever know everything about it. In addition, whatever it is that would need articulating about your business, remember that you are the best person to do the job. So be sure that you know your business, as well as the benefits and features that your target clients will get from you. The more articulate you are the more chances you have of closing a sale.

3. Know your products and services.

This means knowing them so you can better articulate their features and benefits. Once you are able to explain clearly the benefits of your products and services, as well as the issues or concerns that can be addressed by your business, you are more than likely to generate interest, which eventually can generate sales.

4. Keep your message simple.

Do not create a complex message just so you can show off to your target clients. You do not need to complicate things just so you can come off as intelligent and an expert of your field. People understand simple; and the more complex you become, the higher the risk of losing your target clients in the middle of reading your offer in your catalog printing.

Lastly, understand your target market. The only thing that can help you create a clearer and more precise message is to know your target market, their needs and wants. The more you know about them, the better chances you have of providing them an offer that is relevant and valuable that they would be hard put to resist.

Internet Marketing Principals Put Into Action

Posted by admin on 21 May 2009

Internet Marketing Principals Put Into Action

Many companies spam their clients and people, but companies that advertise through spamming methods are not following the internet marketing principals that would best market their products.  One of the largest complaints that people have about the Internet is spam, and they ignore anything that looks even remotely spammy.

An important means of reaching people through the internet is often done through target marketing.  This is the idea that instead of spamming one hundred people and hoping that two like your product, you focus on people and online groups who are already interested in similar goods or services.

It’s true that by doing this you will significantly decrease the amount of exposure you get, but this also means that you will reduce the amount of bad publicity you get as well.  All of the people that you sent email advertisements to that weren’t interested in your merchandise are going to think that your company is merely one of those fly by night spamming operations.

Even if you’re not, it won’t change the way they think of your product and their perception of your business practices.  However, if you can focus your marketing ideas on groups of people, who you know are interested in similar things, then you increase your likelihood of having good corresponding sales figures. Internet marketing principals are not that different from other means of promoting something.

One of the more important rules is to know what people will pay for your product.  Too many times people don’t properly estimate the value of their product or service.
The first time many people see an advertisement or commercial, they form an opinion of what is being marketed.  If they see something they think is priced too low, they might decide that it’s made with lower quality parts and decide they don’t want to buy it.  If they think it’s priced too highly then they may think it out of their price range and discount it immediately.

This is why it’s never a bad idea to look around online at what your competitors may be charging for similar products.  The idea behind this is to get your price slightly lower than what they are charging; so that people think they’re getting a good deal on something.  Of course, make sure that it’s not so good of a deal that they start wondering about quality.

If you are still having problems pricing your items, then you could go to a message board and see if there are any discussions that might give you an idea of what people are willing to pay.  Many times this is the kind of research that large public relations firms do for their clients.

Remember to keep everything you do as professional as possible and don’t be too pushy.  You shouldn’t have a problem learning how to safely and easily promote your company, especially if you put these internet marketing principals into action.

Let me know what you think,

Ride The Wave – Create A Social Media Marketing Strategy

Posted by admin on 21 May 2009

Ride The Wave – Create A Social Media Marketing Strategy

One of the things that media considers when they are deciding what to promote or talk about is what effect that subject will have on various social groups. The media does whatever it can to have some kind of impact on whatever market they are chasing after. The smart marketer will use that commotion to their advantage. They will ride the wave.

One of the hardest thing for any marketer to do, whether on-line or off, is to create a stir around what they are trying to offer. You have to have some level of excitement surrounding your product or service for it to see any success at all. It can seem like you are beating your head against a wall many times as you try to get anyone to notice you and to get them to even care. I am sure that you think that you have something that is very important to offer people. Unless you can educate and convince them that it is important, they just won’t get it and you won’t get their business.

There is a way that you can get by without having to do all the work of trying to generate excitement and educate the people about your offering. That way is to let the larger media outlets do all the work. Create a marketing strategy that uses that work that the media does. Sometimes you will luck out and find that there is a big commotion related to something you are offering already and it will only take a little bit to get the social groups interested in what you have.

Sometimes you will have to use your imagination and find a relationship between something big that is going on in the media that has a huge impact on social groups of one kind or another. Once you find that relationship, though, you can find a marketing strategy that can make that connection obvious. You will have to educate yourself and look at what is hot on television or on the Internet. Look for what are popular topics on the regular news media, what trends are hot in the world of finance, or what gossip is going on in social circles. What are the things that is popular? More than likely you are going to find something that your product or service can relate to.

There are times, though, that it might be good to look at the media and decide on a product or service that is timely, that social groups of one kind or another are buzzing about. Choose something that there is already a lot of excitement about. Watch trends and if you see something that is starting to gain some attention in certain social circles, it may be something that takes off and has widespread appeal. Take advantage of these things.

On your own you will be trying hard to make waves about what you are trying to market but what you will end up making is a tiny ripple. A smart marketer will notice the tsunami’s being made by the larger media outlet and will use a marketing strategy that capitalizes on the huge splash they make on the bigger social groups laying on the beach.
