How To Make Money Teaching E Commerce

If you understand the concept behind e commerce, that its simple definition is the electronic exchange of goods or services, you can making money teaching e commerce to business owners.  You can do this in several different ways.

If you already have a website set up for any kind of e commerce, you can use that as an example to show other business owners.  In your local community there are several small businesses who might not yet have an Internet presence.  You can contact these business owners and discuss with them their need to put their presence online, even if just to offer information to those who might be searching on the products they have for sale, even if they don’t plan on selling any items through their website.

Small local businesses have their regular stable of customers, but they need to constantly bring new customers in as well.  Even if the business owner doesn’t want to put items for sale online and deal with that aspect of the business, a website that offers information to Internet searchers can increase their business.

With some study of Internet marketing and search engine-operation including how keywords figure into search results and search engine rankings, you can offer the business owner the relevant information for a fee.  You can charge for a consultation in which you lay out a plan for the business owner to create a presence online to draw in more customers.

If you’re thinking that teaching e commerce is something you’re not qualified to do, consider that there are dozens, maybe hundreds, of e commerce packages already available online.  For one price, a business owner can purchase a website hosting plan, an advertising package, information about how to promote and rank high in the search engines, and create the website, usually with the help of software that does all the technical work for you.  You don’t even have to understand most of what the package offers, in order to profit from it.

If you understand e commerce, and can convey a little information to the business owner about how a good website can increase his business by teaching him e commerce and the advantages it has over regular commerce, you can profit from the packages that other people have already created through affiliate marketing.

One of the ways the people and companies who create these all-in-one packages sell so many of them is through affiliate marketing. This is a simple concept—they create the package, then they allow other people to promote the package for them.  When a package is sold thanks to the effort of someone else (tracked by the link the purchaser used to get to the package) the seller, known as the affiliate marketer, is paid a percentage of that sale.

Once you follow the directions at the site of the package you want to market, you can market it online, and also profit by teaching e commerce and selling packages to local businesses. BTW if you have any questions feel free to shoot me an email.

Blog Flipping, A Couple Facts Which No Blog Flipper Should Ignore

Posted by admin on 08 March 2009

Many big companies and entrepreneurs have realized the importance and hidden potential of a blog. These companies, however, lack the patience, energy or time to build one. Hence they do not mind paying for an established blog tons of money. It is because of this reason that blog flipping has become one of the fastest growing businesses on the internet.

There are two different ways of going about blog flipping:

1) The first method is to determine on a blog which has a huge potential but is not producing the desired results due to some shortcomings and weaknesses, and to purchase it. Then boosting the traffic and the sales of the blog to the requisite level, will definitely attract potential high paying buyers to the blog.

2) The second and the most popular method is to develop a domain on a universal niche, develop a blog and to sell it for huge profits.

Some important facts about blog flipping which need to be addressed are:

1) It is important to be thorough with the research on the niche. Any blog can be sold for a big money, but only if holds value for the potential buyers. The same goes for the website which you are considering to purchase. Any website which is attracting your attention, should have the potential to attract buyers, of course with a bit of renovation, remodeling and boosted traffic.

2) There are different types of companies which are interested in different types of blogs. Some companies might only blogs with huge traffics and might overlook the profits, as they are confident of their products and services, and are certain about converting the huge traffic into sales.

3) However, it would not be an exaggeration to say that majority of the buyers look for blogs with profits. It is best to refurbish a blog till it starts generating a decent regular income. A profitable blog is bound to get sold for a higher price.

4) Selecting an appropriate niche, a domain name which reflects the essence of the website and quality content can increase the value of any blog several folds. One also needs to be cautious enough to determine a quality product. Once you are done with the above steps, you should hopefully not be facing any issues in selling the flipped blog on any of the auction sites for a considerable profits. Good Luck, and happy blog flipping!

Are you getting information overload?

Me too! Just today alone I got well over 100 emails telling me that the next big product made “Mr. so and so” millions of dollars. Well, this is all good, but what they fail to tell people often times is that they charge money for “extra” coaching. For the beginner, this is sad and unfortunate for them. I remember first starting out, buying the “next greatest thing” only to find out that if you get stuck or want extra help, you have to pay more for it. The result: dissappointment. Well, I’ve had it with that approach, and I just don’t think that it’s fair. I know that this blog is supposed to be focused on Web Design, but I feel this is part of it.

You see, the thing that many internet marketers don’t tell you (and not all of them, I know MANY very nice internet marketers who are just a pure godsend to me in my business and could never thank them enough), is that in order to MAKE that large amount of money that they promise you, it comes with some WORK. Oh NO! You mean I have to WORK for what I want? Well, yes…….there’s no free lunch. I get so upset when people think that there is a “magic button” for making money online or that the money will just fall into their lap.

See, it starts with a website or blog AT LEAST. Many claim you don’t need a website or a blog, and maybe this is true, but they CERTAINLY do help you get noticed a little more. These things are simple and can be done inexpensively on any budget.

Building Your Income with Blogs

Posted by admin on 23 September 2008

Blogs are a fantastic way to make money. They perform well in search engines, they’re easy to promote, and they can offer very sticky content. If you blog often, and you’re good at what you do, you could develop a pretty large following of readers who subscribe to your RSS feed and read your content on a daily basis.

One of the biggest keys to success with blogs is posting in them regularly. If you don’t post regularly, you probably won’t get much traffic, and people won’t return. Posting frequently also keeps your content fresh, and search engines love fresh content.

The more often you post, the more often the spiders will visit your site. And every time you post, you can ping your site at the various ping locations. This can also bring in more traffic.

Another major key to blog success is creating sticky content. This means you have to write posts that people will actually be interested in reading.

Readers probably don’t care what you had for dinner, unless you’re John Chow or you’re running a food blog. They want to read about stuff related to your niche. If you’re running a blog about golfing, at least 75% of your posts should be related to golf. Preferably 100%.

You should talk about golf courses you’ve recently played on, tournaments you’ve watched, and clubs you’ve tried. You might occasionally post about family matters, or your dog, or your favorite restaurant as a way to connect on a more personal level with your readers, but most of your posts should be on target with your niche.

Blogs are great for people who sell services. If you’re a graphics designer or writer, having a blog is a good way to keep in touch with your clients. You can offer updates on your schedule and availability, current prices and special offers, and when you’ll be taking some time off.

You can also post samples of your latest work. If you have a number of clients subscribe to your RSS feed, you’ll be able to keep in contact with them so they’ll order from you more often.

People also tend to follow blogs more carefully than websites.

Don’t start a blog with the intention of letting it sit dormant and earn money. It probably won’t work. If you’re going to start a blog, you need to be prepared to commit yourself to growing the blog, posting often, keeping it updated, and not giving up on it.

They offer multiple selling opportunities – from text links woven throughout the content to image ads like banners you strategically place in between blog posts. The sidebar can also be utilized as affiliate or direct sales revenue space.

Make sure you take the time to transfer your blog over to your own domain instead of hosting it within the blogging community. This makes it more professional to the person who lands on your website and lends credibility to your efforts as the go-to person in your niche.
